The company, which has already started selling its products through Amazon to American and European fishing enthusiasts, will work on a broad-spectrum marketing strategy to get a strong foothold in US and European markets, the owners confirmed. They added that they would invest in advertising and promotions for tapping into the Western market starting from the next financial year.
RUNCL has already found a sizeable market share in China, Japan and neighboring countries. However, the company is now looking to expand its market beyond the Asia Pacific region and according to the owners, Europe and North America are the hot markets for them at this moment.
“We strive to make the best outdoor fishing gears and we always keep in mind that the fishing gears should be environmentally friendly as well”, stressed an executive who himself is also a fishing enthusiast. “We are now planning to take our ergonomically designed fishing gears to the US and European markets as we have realized that there is a huge potential for marketing low-cost and eco-friendly fishing gears in Europe”, he added.
The executive also informed that RUNCL GRIM 1, one of their fishing reels with collapsible and interchangeable handle was chosen as the ‘Best Fishing Reel’ at the recently concluded Sino-Japan Friendship Fishing Tournament.
“The product comes with a CNC-machined aluminum spool and internal grooves for better lube retention. Also, the S curve oscillation system offers the amateur fishers smooth line winding. The product, which is suitable for both left and right-handed fishers, is now available at a discounted price on Amazon”, said the executive.
